Innova 5610: Viewing Battery Reset Procedures
Battery Reset
You can use the Innova 5610 to view the procedures for resetting the battery monitor system following battery replacement or perform battery reset OBD service for Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Ford, and Volvo models only.
Service Reset (Battery Reset)

Step 1 - Press the MENU button.

To access the Battery Reset, press the MENU button. |
Step 2 - Select Service Reset, then press ENTER ↵.

The Main Menu will display. Select Service Reset, then press ENTER ↵. |
Step 3 - Select Battery Reset, then press ENTER ↵.

The Service Reset menu will display. Select Battery Reset, then press ENTER ↵. |
Step 4 - Press 'Yes' to confirm your vehicle.

Step 5 - Select Battery Reset Procedures, then press ENTER ↵.

The Battery Reset menu will display. Select Battery Reset Procedures, then press ENTER ↵. |
Step 6 - Select the procedure you wish to view, then press ENTER ↵.

The Battery Reset Procedures menu will display. The menu provides access to General Information, and procedures to follow before battery disconnection and after battery connection. Select the procedure you wish to view, then press ENTER ↵. |

The selected procedure will display. Navigate through the steps using the UP ▲ and DOWN ▼ buttons. |
Note: If battery reset procedures are not available, an advisory message will show. Select Exit to return to the Main Menu.
Step 7 - Select Back to return to the Battery Reset Procedures menu.

When you have finished viewing the retrieved information, press the Back button to return to the Battery Reset Procedures menu. Repeat step 6 to view additional procedures. When you have finished viewing all desired procedures, press Main Menu to return to the Main Menu. |
