Innova 7111: How to turn off the Oil Warning Light
Purpose:
To guide you on how to reset an Oil Light Warning on your dashboard while using the Innova 7111 Tablet.
Condition

Service Oil Light is on your dashboard. It will mean your vehicle needs oil or filter change. Whenever there is an oil change, you have to reset the engine oil system. |
Procedures
Step 1 - Reset oil light, turn on the ignition and 7111 scanner, connect to OBD2 port, and select 'Workshop Tools'

To reset oil light, turn on the ignition but do not start the vehicle. Turn on the 7111 scanner then connect to your OBD2 port and wait 7111 detect your vehicle. Select 'Workshop Tools'. |
Step 2 - Select function 'Oil Light Reset'

Select function 'Oil Light Reset.' |
Step 3 - Select 'Yes'
|
Select 'Yes' in pop-up to perform function. |
Step 4 - Wait progress to finish
|
This service is in progress, you just wait for a few seconds. |
Step 5 - Check oil warning light for turning off
|
Your service is successful. Check your oil warning light for turning off. |
