Innova 5510: How to Replace your Battery

Purpose

To guide you on where to place or how to replace batteries in the Innova 5510.

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the battery symbol is visible on the screen display and/or if all three LED lights are lit and no other data is visible on the screen.

Follow the procedures below:

Locate the battery cover on the back of the Scan Tool.
Use a screwdriver to open and slide the battery cover off.
Replace batteries with three AA-size batteries (for longer life, use Alkaline-type batteries).
Reinstall the battery cover on the back of the Scan Too with a screwdriver.
