Viewing In-use Performance Tracking (IPT)
The scan tool can retrieve In-use Performance Tracking (IPT) statistics for monitors supported by the vehicle under test. Two values are returned for each monitor;
- The number of times that all conditions necessary for a specific monitor to detect a malfunction have been encountered (XXXCOND).
- The number of times the vehicle has been operated under the specific conditions for the monitor (XXXCOMP).
- Also, the data provided for the number of times the vehicle has been operated in OBD monitoring conditions (OBDCOND).
- The number of times the vehicle’s engine has been started (IGNCNTR).
Step 1 - Press the MENU button.

To view your In-Use Performance Tracking, press the MENU button. |
Step 2 - Select Vehicle Information, then press ENTER ↵.

The Main Menu will display. Scroll down the screen using the DOWN ▼ button. Select Vehicle Information, then press ENTER ↵. |
Step 3 - Select IPT, then press ENTER ↵.

The Vehicle Information menu will display. Select IPT, then press ENTER ↵. |
Step 4 - When the retrieval process is completed, your In-use Performance Tracking data will display.

When the retrieval process is completed, the In-use Performance Tracking data for your vehicle will display. If In-use Performance Tracking isn't available for your vehicle, an advisory message will show. After viewing your In-Use Performance Tracking data, press the MENU button to return to the Main Menu. |
