Viewing Tool Icon Meanings
The Icon Meaning function displays the full name for each monitor icon and descriptions of the meanings of other informational icons shown on the 5210’s display. The I/M Monitor Status Icons on the 5210’s LCD display provide an indication of the Completed / Not Complete status for all I/M monitors supported by the vehicle under test.
Step 1 - Press the MENU button.

To access the Tool Icon Definitions, press the MENU button. |
Step 2 - Select Tool Library, then press ENTER ↵.

The Main Menu will display. Scroll down the screen using the DOWN ▼ button and find the Tool Library. |

Select Tool Library, then press ENTER ↵. |
Step 3 - From the Tool Library menu, select Icon Meaning, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 4 - Select the type of icons you wish to view, then press ENTER ↵.

The screen will show a list of Monitors for the selected category. Press the MENU button to return to the Icon Meaning menu. You may view additional Icon Meanings as shown in the first image in step 4. |
