Innova 7111: How to inspect your vehicle

Purpose:

To summarize all the necessary information like emission monitors, advanced diagnostics, service information, and reports while using the Innova 7111 Tablet.

Step 1 - Connect Innova 7111 tablet scanner to vehicle, open Innova App, and select 'OEM Diagnostics


First, connect the Innova 7111 Tablet scanner with your vehicle via USB or Bluetooth.

Open the Innova application. The application gets the general information automatically as VIN, vehicle's information, and odometer.

Next, select the function 'OEM Diagnostics.'

Step 2 - Select 'Vehicle Inspection'


The application shows the list of systems in your vehicle.

You have two options for the next step:

  • 1. Scan all systems: This is an advanced diagnostic function. It scans all your systems for  Read DTCs, Erase DTCs, Live data, Active Test, and Special Functions.

    2. Vehicle Inspection: This is a common information summarization.

Select the 'Vehicle Inspection' for the next step.

Step 3 - View 'Vehicle Diagnostics'


After scanning all the values the function needs, the data showed as the image.

Depending on your vehicle, the information of the Vehicle Diagnostics function can be changed, but the three sections: 'Emission Readiness Monitor', 'System Diagnostics', and 'Battery Life', are the same as another vehicle.

Emission Readiness Monitor

Step 1 - Go to 'Emission Readiness Monitor'


You can check the 'Emission Readiness Monitor' function in the OBD2 Diagnostics.

Step 2 - Scroll down to the 'Monitor Status - This Drive Cycle' section to view information


After scanning the vehicle's OBD2, scroll down to the 'Monitor Status - This Drive Cycle' - this section is the 'Emission Readiness Monitor' information.

System Diagnostics

Step 1 - Select 'Scan All Systems'


You can check the System Diagnostics function after selecting 'Scan All Systems' in the 'OEM Diagnostics' function.

Check Battery

Step 1 - Select 'Battery Life'


This section gives you the value (V) of the battery and shows you the advice for your battery.

Other sections

As we said before, depending on your vehicle, the information of the Vehicle Diagnostics function can be changed. This section can show you information of the following:

  • TPMS Live data
  • Oil Life (%)
  • Coolant Level
  • Front/Rear Brake Pad Life
  • Transmission Fluid Temperature
  • Airbag Dash Indicator
  • TPMS Warning Light
  • ABS Dash Indicator
  • Diagnostic Report
