Innova 5310: Navigating to the OBD2 DTC Library

Step 1 - Press the MENU button.

To access the OBD2 DTC Library, press the MENU button.

Step 2 - Select Tool Library, then press ENTER ↵.

The Main Menu will display.

Scroll through the screen using the DOWN ▼ button and find Tool Library.

Select Tool Library, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 3 - From the Tool Library menu, select DTC Library, then press ENTER ↵.

The Tool Library Menu will display.

Select DTC Library, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 4 - Select OBD2 Library, then press ENTER ↵.

Select OBD2 Library, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 5 - Select the desired vehicle manufacturer, then press ENTER ↵.

The Select Manufacturer screen will display.

Navigate through the screen using the UP ▲ and DOWN ▼ buttons.

Select Next and press ENTER ↵ if you want to view the next page.

Select the desired vehicle make, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 6 - Enter the DTC.

The Enter DTC screen will display starting with the code P0001.

Press UP ▲ or DOWN ▼, as necessary, to scroll to the desired DTC type (P=Powertrain, U=Network, B=Body, C=Chassis), then press DTC/FF.

The selected character will display solid, and the next character is highlighted.

When the desired DTC is already reflected n the screen, press ENTER ↵.

Step 7 - View the DTC definition.

The DTC definition you inputted will display on the screen.

When you have finished viewing the DTC definition, select Back and press ENTER ↵ to return to the Enter DTC screen and enter additional DTCs, or press the MENU button to return to the Main Menu.

Note: If a definition for the DTC you entered is not available, an advisory message will show.
