Innova 5410: Performing Battery Resets on BMW/Ford/Volvo Vehicles
Battery Reset
You can use the Innova 5410 to reset the battery monitor system following battery replacement or perform battery reset OBD service.
Step 1 - While linked to a vehicle, press the MENU button.

Step 2 - Select Service Reset, then press ENTER ↵.

The Main Menu will display. Select Service Reset, then press ENTER ↵. |
Step 3 - Select Battery Reset, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 4 - Press Yes to confirm your vehicle.

Step 5 - Select Reset Battery Monitoring System, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 6- Follow the instructions provided to prepare the vehicle for battery reset OBD service. When all necessary procedures have been performed, select Next, then press ENTER ↵.

Select Next then press ENTER ↵ to continue. If the battery reset process is successful, a Reset Complete message will display. If the battery reset process is not successful, a Reset Fail message will display. |
