Innova 5410: Navigating to the OBD1 DTC Library

Step 1 - Press the MENU button.

To access the OBD1 DTC Library, press the MENU button.

Step 2 - Select Tool Library, then press ENTER ↵.

The Main Menu will display.

Scroll down the screen using the DOWN ▼ button to find the Tool Library.

Select Tool Library, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 3 - From the Tool Library menu, select DTC Library, then press ENTER ↵.

The Tool Library will display.

Select DTC Library, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 4 - Select OBD1 Library, then press ENTER ↵.

The DTC Library will display.

Select OBD1 Library, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 5 - Select the desired vehicle manufacturer, then press ENTER ↵.

Navigate through the screen using the UP ▲ and DOWN ▼ buttons. Select the desired vehicle manufacturer by pressing ENTER ↵.

A confirmation message will show.

If the correct manufacturer is shown, select Yes.

Step 6 - Enter the DTC.

Press UP ▲ or DOWN ▼, as necessary, to scroll to the first digit of the DTC, then press DTC/FF to move to the other digits.

The selected character will display solid, and the next character is highlighted.

When the desired DTC is already reflected on the screen, press ENTER ↵.

Step 7 - View the DTC definition.

The DTC definition is displayed on the screen.

When you have finished viewing the DTC definition, select Back to return to the Enter DTC screen and enter additional DTCs, or press the MENU button to return to the Main Menu.

Note: If a definition for the DTC you entered is not available, an advisory message will show. Select Back to return to the Enter DTC screen and enter additional DTCs or press the MENU button to return to the Main Menu.
