Innova 7111: Scan History

To guide you on how to review the vehicle health reports using the Innova 7111 Scan Tool Tablet.

Introduction

It is essential to keep track of vehicle health reports. The purpose of a vehicle health report is to help the vehicle owner identify any potential issues, take a proactive approach to maintenance, enhance performance, and ensure the vehicle operates safely and efficiently.

This article demonstrates how to save and view the health report using Innova 7111 Scan Tool Tablet.

Procedure

Step 1 - Turn ON the Innova 7111 Scan Tool Tablet and select 'Previous Vehicles.'

First, turn ON the Innova 7111 Scan Tool Tablet.

Then, select the function 'Previous Vehicles.'

Step 2 – Scroll to the desired report ID or search for it using vehicle information.

The Scan Tool will display a list of cars that have been previously checked. Tap the desired report ID.

Note: The report ID varies depending on Custom Scan or Global On-Board Diagnostics (OBD).

Step 3 – Select ‘Scan Type’ for more information.

For the global type of OBD scan, you can check the status of several emissions-related systems, including Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) or Check Engine Light status, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), emission monitors, and vehicle info.

In addition, you can also create a report for other helpful information like recommended Fixes, Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) and Recalls, Scheduled Maintenance, and Predicted Failures.

For the type of Custom scan, you can review all Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Trouble Codes. The Scan Tool will display a list of the systems, system status, and DTCs.

Step 4 - How to create the report

	Select the global type of OBD scan, tap the TSBs and Recalls, Scheduled Maintenance, or Predicted Failures. Then tap the ‘Create Report!’ button via RepairSolutions2. Please adhere to the on-screen instructions.
	After a report is created, it is able to be sent to a shop's or customer's email. Tap the mail icon, input the email address, and then send it.
