INNOVA 3210RS: How to Read & Erase Codes

Purpose:

To provide you with steps on how to read and clear codes with the Innova 3210RS.

Step 1 - Select the Scan Engine.

After pairing your 3210RS, select the Scan Engine tab. This scan runs a monitor test for check engine codes, and creates a report detailing your engine's specific problems.

Step 2 - Wait until the RS2 app reads the data from your vehicle.

The RS2 app will read the data from your vehicle, including the odometer.

Step 3 - Wait until the app reads the data from your vehicle.

After your vehicle's odometer is read by the RS2 app, select Generate Report.

While generating the report, ensure your vehicle is turned to the ON position, and your smart device is close to your 3210RS.

Once the report is generated, a Done message will be shown on the screen.

Note: Your vehicle’s odometer mileage will be automatically recorded in the Odometer field.

Step 4 - View Report Page.

The Report Page will appear after the RS2 app is done generating the report. It will show the number of codes found, and a Results link that navigates to your codes in detail.

To access the DTCs, select Results.

Step 5 - Select Erase Codes.

If you want to clear the diagnostic codes after completing the repairs, scroll down and select Erase Codes.

Step 6 - Select the codes you wish to erase.

After selecting Erase Codes, A dialog screen will appear that will let you select the codes you wish to erase.

Step 7 - Select Continue.

After selecting the codes you want erased, a successful prompt screen will appear to notify you that the system successfully erased your codes.

Select Continue to exit.
