    Procedure

    Step 1 - Connect the SDS43 SDS-Inspector Tablet Scan Tool to the vehicle and select 'Workshop Tools'

    First, connect the Innova SDS43 SDS-Inspector Tablet Scan Tool to your vehicle via the Diagnostic Link Connector (DLC) to retrieve the vehicle's information, such as VIN and On-Board Diagnostic (OBD2) information.

    To access the ‘Workshop Tools’, from the Home Screen, select 'Workshop Tools' section and press the ‘OK’ button.

    Step 2 – Select the ‘Transmission Reset’ function

    The Innova SDS43 SDS-Inspector Tablet Scan Tool offers a range of features, including 12 Service Reset functions, as well as the Vehicle Inspection and Battery/Alternator Test functions, as illustrated in the image. To initiate the Transmission Reset function, you can choose the Transmission Reset' item from the list.

    Step 3 - Choose the function to perform

    Select the ‘Transmission Reset’ item after that press the ‘OK’ button.

    Step 4 – Perform the 'Transmission Reset’ function

    After select the Transmission Reset function, the Scan Tool shows some requirements that must be met first before performing the ‘Transmission Reset’ function. If not, the resetting process maybe failed.

    Select 'Continue’ softkey then press ‘OK’ button to go to the next step.

    Next, turn the ignition ON to respond the requirement of the procedure then select ‘Continue’ and press the ‘OK’ button to go to the next step.

    Wait for the Scan Tool communicates with the vehicle and confirm the desired performing request.

    After that, there are some requests from the Scan Tool – which must be met to ensure the ‘Transmission Reset’ function working exactly.

    Then, select the ‘Yes’ softkey and press ‘OK’ button to go to the next step.

    Wait and check the result of performing the function. Select the ‘Back’ softkey and press the ‘OK’ button to finish the ‘Transmission Reset’ function.
