Innova 1000: How to view your Check Engine Report details

Step 1 - Select Engine.

After pairing with the RS2 app, select the Engine option.

Step 2 - Wait until the RS2 app reads the vehicle data.

The RS2 app will the read data from your vehicle, including the odometer.

Step 3 - Select Generate Report.

After your vehicle's odometer is read by the RS2 app, select Generate Report.
While generating the report, ensure your vehicle is turned to the ON position, and your smart device is close to your dongle.

Once the report is generated, a Done message will be shown on the screen.

Note: Your vehicle’s odometer mileage should automatically record in the odometer field. You more than likely will need to add some mileage. The odometer reading is used for Maintenance Items & Predicted Repairs. It has no impact on DTCs stored in vehicle modules.

Step 4 - View the Report Page.

Once you complete the scan, you've already generated a report which contains the codes related to all issues associated with your check engine light.

Step 5 - Select Show Details to view more details.

The RS2 app will automatically navigate you toward the check engine light report.

For more information on the primary code, select Show Details to view more information.

Step 6 - View details.

After selecting Show Details, the RS2 app will display the severity, definition, and effect on your vehicle the primary code has.

NOTE: A check engine code is called Primary when it identifies the root-cause fault detected by the ECU, as opposed to secondary or cascading codes triggered as a side effect of that initial problem.

Step 7 - Replacement Parts for Verified Fix

The RS2 app will display the replacement parts for the verified fix for the primary codes. Click on the replacement parts image to view where to purchase the replacement parts.

Step 8- Scroll through to view more confirmed, pending, or permanent codes.

Scroll through to view all other codes stored in the vehicle. This includes confirmed, pending, permanent, & history codes
