Innova 5610: Performing a Battery/Alternator Test

Battery/Alternator Test

The Innova 5610 can perform a check of the vehicle’s battery and alternator system or hybrid/EV battery system to ensure that the system is operating within acceptable limits. You can perform a battery check only, or an alternator system (battery and alternator) check.

Step 1 - While linked to your vehicle, press the MENU button.

• While linked to your vehicle, press the MENU button.

Step 2 - Select EV/HEV/PHEV Battery Health, Battery/Alternator Test, then press ENTER ↵.

• The Main Menu displays.

  Scroll through the screen using the DOWN ▼ button and find EV/HEV/PHEV Battery Health, Battery/Alternator Test, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 3 - Press Yes to confirm your vehicle.

• Press Yes to confirm your vehicle.

Step 4 - Select Battery Test or Alternator Test, then press ENTER ↵.

• The Battery/Alternator Monitor Menu will display.

  Select Battery Test or Alternator Test, then press ENTER ↵.

  When you have finished viewing the retrieved information, select Back to return to the Main Menu.
