Innova 5610: Viewing Battery Reset Procedures

Battery Reset

You can use the Innova 5610 to view the procedures for resetting the battery monitor system following battery replacement or perform battery reset OBD service for Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Ford, and Volvo models only.

Step 1 - Press the MENU button.

• To access the Battery Reset, press the MENU button.

Step 2 - Select Service Reset, then press ENTER ↵.

• The Main Menu will display.

  Select Service Reset, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 3 - Select Battery Reset Procedure, then press ENTER ↵.

• The Service Reset menu will display.

  Select Battery Reset Procedure, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 4 - Press 'Yes' to confirm your vehicle.

• Press Yes to confirm your vehicle.

Step 5 - Follow the guidelines, then press Continue to proceed.

• The Battery Reset Procedure guidelines will display.
• Press Continue to proceed.

Step 6 - Select the procedure you wish to view, then press ENTER ↵.

• The Battery Reset Procedures menu will display.

  The menu provides access to General Information, and procedures to follow before battery disconnection and after battery connection.

  Select the procedure you wish to view, then press ENTER ↵.

• The selected procedure will display.

  Navigate through the steps using the UP ▲ and DOWN ▼ buttons.

Step 7 - Select Exit to return to the Battery Reset Procedures menu.

• When you have finished viewing the retrieved information, press the Exit button to return to the Battery Reset Procedures menu.
