Innova SDS43 SDS-Inspector: OEM Live Data
Purpose
To explain to you monitoring and graphing 'real-time' Live Data while using the Innova SDS43 SDS-Inspector Tablet Scan Tool.
Introduction
The Innova SDS43 SDS-Inspector Tablet Scan Tool lets you access hundreds of additional parameters you can view in real-time for Anti-Lock Brake Control Module (ABS), Airbag (SRS), Transmission, and Engine Control modules. This information includes values (voltage, RPM, temperature, speed, etc.) and system status information (open loop, closed loop, fuel system status, etc.). These are the signals used by the vehicle's computer to calculate and make system adjustments and corrections. The real-time Live Data vehicle operating information (values/status) that the computer supplies to the Scan Tool for each sensor, actuator, switch, etc. are called Parameter Identification (PID) Data. Each PID has a set of operating characteristics and features (parameters) that serve to identify it. The Scan Tool displays this information for each sensor, actuator, switch, or status that is supported by the vehicle under test.
Moreover, you can customize and graph the number of PIDs that you wish to view on the Innova SDS43 SDS-Inspector Tablet Scan Tool.
Condition
Warning: If the vehicle must be driven in order to perform a troubleshooting procedure, always have a second person to help you. One person should drive the vehicle while the other person observes the Scan Tool's data. Trying to drive and operate the Scan Tool at the same time is dangerous and could cause a serious traffic accident.

- Press UP ▲ and DOWN ▼, as necessary, to view all available PID data.
- NOTE: The values for the various PIDS displayed may change as the vehicle's operating conditions change.
Step 5 - Select PIDs to show
- You can view all supported PIDs or customize the list to view only some PIDs you care about in ‘Custom Live Data’ feature.
- Firstly, you must in the Live Data function. After that, select ‘Custom Live Data’ softkey and press the ‘OK’ button.
- Tick on the box next to each PID to select the PID you wish to show in custom mode. A ‘checkmark’ will be shown to confirm your selection.

- The Innova SDS43 SDS-Inspector Tablet Scan Tool offers three options to graph live data, graph a single PID, Multi-graph for side-by-side viewing, Or Merge Graph to view more PID results on one graph.
- The Innova SDS43 SDS-Inspector Tablet Scan Tool provides the ability to merge graphs with a maximum of 4 PIDs with value at a time. It allows you to monitor the changes in PID values more clearly.
