Innova SDS43 SDS-Inspector: DPF Reset
Purpose
To guide users on how to perform the Diesel Particulate Filter function while using the Innova SDS43 SDS-Inspector Tablet Scan Tool.
Introduction
Modern diesel vehicles are equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to capture and remove harmful particulate matter from the exhaust gases. Over time, the DPF can become clogged with soot and require regeneration or cleaning to maintain optimal performance. In some cases, a DPF reset function may be necessary to clear error codes and restore the DPF system to its proper functioning.
By using Innova SDS43 SDS-Inspector Tablet Scan Tool with the DPF reset function, it becomes possible to initiate the regeneration process, clear error codes related to the DPF system, and ensure that the DPF operates efficiently. This function is particularly useful after performing maintenance or repairs on the DPF system, or when encountering issues such as excessive soot buildup or incomplete regeneration cycles.
