Innova SD35 SD-Advisor: Set up

Purpose

To guide you on how to set up your Innova SD35 SD-Advisor Scan Tool.

Initial Setup

The first time the Tablet Scan Tool is connected to a vehicle, it is necessary to complete your setup by performing the following steps:

Step 1 - Select the desired display language (English, Spanish, French) and press OK.

Step 2 - Select the desired unit of measurement (U.S. Standard or Metric) and press OK.

Step 3 - The screen displays the Smog Check or I/M Program LED Definition. Press OK to continue.

Step 4 - On the next screen, a QR code to RepairSolutions2 (RS2) is provided. Using any mobile device, scan the code to download and install the free RS2 app.

• The app offers additional information including the Most Likely Component/System Cause for DTC, Repair Tip, and much more.

Settings

The Tablet lets you make several adjustments and settings to configure it to your particular needs. The following functions can be performed:

Step 1 - Connect the SD35 Tablet Scan Tool to the vehicle and select 'Settings.'

• First, connect the Innova SDS35 Tablet Scan Tool to your vehicle via the On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) connector to retrieve the vehicle's information, such as Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and model.
• Then, select the 'Settings' section.

Step 2 – Set up the Scan Tool.

• The Scan Tool shows the item list for setting as in the image.
• There are 9 setting functions for your Innova SD35 Tablet Scan Tool as below:
  • Vehicle Inspection Setup
  • AutoLink Setting
  • Adjust Brightness
  • Audible Tone
  • Language Selection
  • Unit of Measurement
  • QR RS2 App
