Innova SD35 SD-Advisor: Previous Vehicles

Purpose

To guide you on how to check the Previous Vehicle Reports of the vehicle scanned before while using the Innova SD35 SD-Advisor Tablet Scan Tool.

Introduction

It is essential to keep track of Previous Vehicle Reports, the purpose is to help the vehicle owner identify any potential issues, take a proactive approach to maintenance, enhance performance, and ensure the vehicle operates safely and efficiently. The Innova SD35 SD-Advisor Tablet Scan Tool stores the results of the most recent vehicle scans you have performed. The Previous Vehicles function allows you to retrieve these historical scan records and view them as needed.

This article demonstrates how to save and view a report using SD35 SD-Advisor Tablet Scan Tool.

Procedure

Step 1 - Connect the Innova SD35 SD-Advisor Tablet Scan Tool to the vehicle and select the 'Previous Vehicles' function.

  • First, connect the Innova SD35 SD-Advisor Tablet Scan Tool to your vehicle via the On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) connector to retrieve the vehicle's information.
  • Then, select the ‘Previous Vehicles’ function.

Step 2 – Select the desired vehicle.

  • If more than one vehicle is stored in the Tablet’s memory, the Vehicle Selection menu will display. Select the desired vehicle, then press OK.
  • If there are no vehicles currently stored, an advisory message is displayed. Press Home to return to the Home Screen.

Step 3 – Select ‘Scan Type’ for more information.

  • The report view differs based on the Scan Type previously performed:
    • OBD2 Diagnostics – The Memory OBD2 Diagnostic test result allows you to review the available 10 modes of OBD2.
    • Scan All Systems – The Scan All Systems Memory will display previously saved systems.
    • Vehicle Inspection – The Vehicle Inspection Report test results will be displayed.
    • Workshop Tools – The Memory Workshop Tools allow you to review Oil Maintenance Reset

      procedures and Battery Reset procedures.

  • When you have finished viewing the information, select Back to return to the Previous Vehicles screen or press Home to exit the Home Screen.
    • An “advisory” confirmation message will display.
    • Select Yes to exit and return to the Home Screen. Or select No to proceed.
