Innova 1000: How to Scan all OEM systems in your vehicle for codes

Purpose:

To demonstrate where and how to scan all OEM systems while using the Innova 1000 Dongle.

Step 1 - Select Whole System scan.

After pairing with the RS2 App, select Whole System to automatically do an all system scan to create a report for all modules in your vehicle.

Step 2 - Wait until the RS2 app reads the data from your vehicle.

The RS2 app will read the data from your vehicle, including the odometer.

Step 3 - Select Generate Report.

After your vehicle's odometer is read by the RS2 app, select Generate Report.

While generating the report, ensure your vehicle is turned to the ON position, and your smart device is close to your dongle.

Once the report is generated, a Done message will be shown on the screen.

Note: Your vehicle’s odometer mileage should automatically be recorded in the Odometer field.

Step 4 - Select Results to view all module codes.

Once you complete a Whole System Scan, a report for all modules will generate.

Select Results in the red banner to view the report for your OEM codes.

Step 5 - Select an individual module to view OEM codes.

Select each individual module to find all codes related to OEM. All OEM codes that contain a 1 next to the code letter are manufactured-specific codes. An example would be P1000. To view all individual modules, select View All.

Step 6 - View OEM codes for each specific module.

To the left are examples of OEM codes. Any code that contains 1 in the following sequence is an OEM or manufacture specific code.
